Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do I need to have done yoga before?

A: Not at all! My classes are designed for beginners as well as those with experience. You’ll always be offered options to suit your body and stage of life.

Q: When can I start postnatal yoga?

A: Most mums can begin from 6 weeks postpartum, or 10–12 weeks after a caesarean. If you’re unsure, check with your health professional before joining.

Q: Can I bring my baby to class?

A: Yes! Babies are welcome in all postnatal and baby classes. Classes are flexible — you can feed, cuddle, or settle your little one at any time.

Q: What should I bring?

A: Please bring a yoga mat, a blanket for comfort, and anything your baby may need (nappy bag, toys, etc.). Props will be available at the venue.

Q: How long are the classes?

A: Each class is around 50-60 minutes. Classes with children are generally shorter. Courses usually run for 6 weeks so you can build connection and confidence week by week.

Q: Are classes accessible for people with limited mobility?

A: Yes — my accessible classes are designed for all levels of mobility. You can practise on a mat, in a chair, or with props.

Q: How do I book a class?

A: You can choose from current class offering on the Community Classes page. Your spot is confirmed after you book online.

Q: What if I miss a class?

A: I understand life can be unpredictable. If you can’t make it, you’re welcome to send a friend or family member in your place—just let me know by email or phone.

Q: Can I get a refund on a class series I’ve booked?

A: Cancellations made up to 48 hours before the first class will receive a full refund. Once the series has begun, refunds aren’t available as places are limited, but you’re welcome to transfer your spot to a friend or family member. Please email to request transfers.
